Preparing your project around Leeds
Morley · Ask Acorn about the options for a temporary need
If your need may be temporary, ask Acorn which purchase or other arrangements are actually available for your Morley staircase. Request the full installed cost, any removal terms and aftercare in writing. This guide does not promise rental or local reconditioned stock.
Acorn · New equipment
Ask what is supplied new, which rail and seat are included and whether installation and a demonstration are part of the quotation. Compare the full warranty and aftercare rather than choosing only by brand or upholstery. Availability and delivery need an address-specific check. Ask Acorn which purchase arrangements are currently offered for your staircase and postcode. Reconditioned, rental and finance options are questions to check, not offers promised by this site.
Reconditioned equipment
Find out the chair's age, service history and refurbishment process. Ask which parts are replaced and whether the rail is new or reused. An existing rail may not fit, particularly on a curved route. The written warranty should identify who will provide repairs.
Rental
Add up the initial payment, monthly charge, minimum term, installation and removal. Ask what happens if you return the lift early or need it longer. A low monthly figure is not a complete project cost, and rental is not necessarily available for every stair shape.
Put the options side by side
Use the same route and required features for every comparison. Include maintenance and the cost of ending the arrangement. Acorn must confirm actual availability; this guide is not a sales offer or a promise of finance, rental stock or a buy-back value.
